Alabama Barker startled her fans when she showed off a completely new look in a recently released video. The 17-year-old daughter of Travis Barker posted a video of herself lip-syncing to a song with a brand-new wig on TikTok last week.

Alabama, Travis’ daughter, recently slammed rap music critics. The 17-year-old recently began posting snippets of her songs on TikTok, which has drawn mixed reactions from fans. While some compared her to legendary rappers Ice Spice and Latto, others accused her of dabbling in the genre at such a young age. In a now-deleted TikTok video released on May 22, Alabama takes aim at the critics.

Alabama Barker sports new wig in latest TikTok video

Alabama was accused of blackfishing after she significantly changed her appearance in a recent TikTok video. Alabama wore a straight, long black wig, which was a departure from the blonde or red wigs she usually wears. The teenager also wore a black, white, and red racing jacket, padlock earrings, some necklaces and many rings. Alabama wore full makeup with strong lipliner and fake eyelashes.

Travis’ daughter sang into the camera, making a few hand motions to the words.

Alabama has received criticism from people who may not always agree with her content as an avid TikToker. Some commented, stating Alabama was not being honest in the video, and even accused her of black fishing.

‘She wanna be Black so bad’

Alabama received further criticism for her new hairstyle after the video was uploaded on Twitter. One person tweeted, “Culture vulture with the baby hair, mannerisms etc. I bet she speaks ebonics.” Another person chimed in, “Whole time she’s white and be lip-syncing the N-word and be wearing bonnets and braids. She’s a black fisher.” One user further tweeted, “She wanna be blck so bad. Literally a Caucasian from the suburbs.” A fourth user sighed, “Another culture vulture yall gone let in ugh.”



 



 



 

Under her TikTok video, fans commented, “It’s okay to be yourself babes.” Another confused follower asked, “What is going on?” One user further wrote, “I’m tired man urgh.” One user noted, “Yes just gonna get worse the more ppl allow and support it.”
